Element’s senior firmware engineer Sam recently took our junior electronics engineers Sanjeev and Naga through some firmware code.
Sam mainly talked about the project structure and how we can build and run the firmware for debugging purposes.
He explained how it connects to the backend and demonstrated some devices functionality by controlling them through the frontend whilst observing them in the firmware debugger.
We want our electronics engineers to understand the process so they can better use their own tools to evaluate firmware themselves.
